The cloaked content reaches the AI provider — exactly what you see on the “Cloaked” tab: detected values are tokens, and values the detection misses — notably some names — can appear as written.
Restore
The provider’s reply is rehydrated with your originals inside your environment, so you read a normal answer while the provider received tokens in place of the detected values.
Where you see them
Your Dashboard tallies Sent and Restored. The gateway blocks detected raw values from leaving.
